Our meeting was on November 4th at ADMC from 3:40 PM until 4:00 PM. The group Members consisted of Ahmed Taleb the chairman, Hussain the minute’s taker, Khalid, Salem and I as participants. All in all we were five members but Salem was absent.
Our topic was about increasing the sense of belonging at ADMC. The first point we discussed was about opening clubs for students and conducting trips and open days for students as well as organizing events between our college and other colleges so that students can interact more with each other. The following point was about building facilities for students to make them comfortable in attending college and feel that they belong to it.
After that, we thought on how to make surveys to know what students need to keep them attached to the college and then hand over the results to the Student service so they can start working on organizing those activities that the students want.
To sum up, improving sense of belonging in students is not easy and should be studied well and also I recommend that ADMC administration should cooperate with the students to know how they can improve the spirit of ADMC.
